Basic Function

Facility-related operations and engineering support services. The job compromises of three major categories of work - operations, maintenance, and engineering.

Scope

The work is in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Facility Support Service Department and Operation, in Dhahran and in Districts (Al Hasa, Udhadliyah, Ras Tanura, and Abqaiq)

Principal Contacts

Daily with supervisor, Project Management Unit.

Principal Duties

1. Independently performs engineering assignment by using standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related tasks.
2. Capable of designing power distribution (high-medium-low voltage) systems, lighting, fire alarm, communication and project management.
3. Prepare engineering drawings, analysis, studies, computations, specifications, reports, design review presentations, construction cost estimates and construction management of limited scope and complexity.
4. Performs specific and limited engineering tasks of a broader assignment under the direction of an experienced engineer. Must have knowledge of code compliance.
5. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
6. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety/risk hazard to the employee or others. Must be able to balance scope, schedule and budget to insure project success.
7. The work environment requires the ability to cooperate and work with individuals at all levels of the company and the client

Education

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.  

Experience

• Minimum 10 year’s electrical engineering experience.
• Experience working in project teams and experience in managing multiple small projects

Certifications/Other requirements as applicable

• Must have excellent understanding of international codes and standards applied.
• Must have working knowledge in CAD software such as Bentley Micro station' and 'AutoCAD'
• Ability to speak and write reports in English is required
• Leadership skills and can handle pressure.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills
