Job Description Summary

The Associate Anesthesia Technician assists with technical and supportive care tasks that the Anesthesia Technician team may require which includes but is not limited to: assisting with coordinating acceptable inventory of anesthesia.-related supplies and functioning equipment prior to an assigned procedure; assisting the Anesthesiologist as needed with overseeing the levels of sedation as needed, which applies to adult, pediatric and neonatal procedures in order to ensure successful anethesia.-related activities are performed excellently at JHAH.

    • Assist the anesthesiologist with the procedures on adult pediatric and neonatal patients
    • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation

    Minimum Education Required

    Diploma in Anesthesia is required

    Professional Certifications Required

    SCFHS certification as applicable; Cardiopulmonary Certification (i.e. BLS, PALS, ACLS, etc.) preferred

    Years of Experience

    From no prior experience and up to 2 years' experience as an Anesthesia Technician

    Languages

    English:Advanced ; Arabic:Basic
