Job Description Summary

The Communications Specialist (Team Lead) provides strategic leadership for all internal and external communication strategies, overseeing the performance of the communications team and ensuring alignment with JHAH’s organizational goals. This role manages high.-level initiatives such as crisis communications, reputation management, and media relations, collaborating closely with senior leadership to drive strategic outcomes.

  • Monitor and evaluate the execution of communication plans carried out by the team ensuring quality and consistency
  • Review and approve content created by the team providing detailed feedback to align with strategic goals
  • Support daytoday tasks when needed such as ensuring SEO compliance for key content and refining team deliverables
  • Oversee the performance of the communications team providing strategic guidance and ensuring effective delivery of communication plans
  • Present strategic communication initiatives and results to senior leadership

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Professional Certifications Required

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex communication projects.

Years of Experience

Minimum 9 years' experience in communications, with extensive experience in communications agencies and healthcare clients.

Languages
