Basic Function

Initiates or conduct staff research required to resolve complex issues that affect the company relations with the Government and impact company operations and image. Typically, writes and reviews letters for the signature of the General Managers of JHAH operations and the other major issues that JHAH face with the Government Agencies.     

Scope

Advise the company employees and Law Department levels in proper procedures with respect to correspondent with the Government, as well as obtaining special permits, Licenses, certifications, customs clearance, or other special approvals as required. Coordinate with all JHAH Services regarding any changes in policy or governments procedures.

Coordinate and solve the most complicated issues with the Government.

Principal Contacts

External contacts with Government Organizations and agencies such as: Ministry of health, Ministry of commerce, Emara, Police, Saudi commission for health specialties, Customs, Traffic, Passport Office,…etc.

Internal contacts with JHAH organizations.

Principal Duties

  • Responsible for advising on a wide range of subjects and issues which impact company relations with the all Government agencies.
  • Requires an ability to assess issue from a historical, cultural and the technical that help JHAH Managements levels on best approaches to resolving key issues between JHAH and government.   
  • Handles all matters with the authority organizations in the conduct of business with government agencies.
  • Keeps JHAH Managements currently informed of information of general and specific interest in area of relationships with Government officials and agencies.
  • Update all JHAH services for the current developments of the Government requirements, update for all the future progress of problems under discussion or negotiation.
  • Coordinates actions by local Government authorities on all matters referred to him by the JHAH Services.
  • Obtaining exemption from Ministry of Health regarding the licensing certificates requirements.
  • Coordinates with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties to get some exemptions for JHAH staff accreditations.
  •  Coordinates with Government agencies regarding irregularities in specific company operations or improper behavior on the part of company employees.
  • Complete special project and administration duties as assigned by JHAH management.
  • Coordinate with all Government organizations on matters related to build a relation with high levels in the Gov. Agencies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Government Relations or closely related field.

Experience

Minimum  5 years work experience related to the Government relations.

 

Certifications/Other requirements as applicable

• Advance proficiency in Arabic is desired.

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English is required for oral interpreting, and for composing comprehensive letters and reports.
