Job Description Summary
The Special Audits Investigations Specialist manages time.-sensitive high.-risk investigations and provides specialized analysis to enhance the organization’s internal controls and risk management. This role supports the development of investigation strategies and ensures that findings lead to meaningful improvements.

- Manage and conducthighrisk investigations involving significant potential impact on the organization ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards
- Provideindepth analysis and specialized insights to identify weaknesses in internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance risk management processes
- Prepare detailed investigation reports presenting findings and practical recommendations to senior management to mitigate risks and strengthen governance
- Train and guide junior investigators by providing guidance during investigations helping them develop their skills and maintain professional standards
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations from investigations and ensure effective execution of corrective actions validating the sustainability of improvements
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Criminal Justice or another business related field;
Master’s degree in related fields is preferred
Professional Certifications Required
CFE is required. CHIAP, CIA, CISA, or other relevant professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is desired.
Years of Experience
A minimum of 10 years experience in auditing, forensic accounting, or financial investigations.
