Senior Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for directing activities such as adjustments and repairs that maintenance equipment and facilities to operate in the safest and most productive condition, supporting continuous improvement, and building maintenance.



The work is in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Facility Support Services Department, in Dhahran and in Districts (Al Hasa, Udhailiyah, Ras Tanura, and Abqaiq). Works with Facilities Support Services Department/Building Services Unit Compliance Unit

Principal Duties
  1. Perform and/or oversee regular maintenance duties at all sites according to maintenance schedule
  2. Complete maintenance and repair requests daily as requested by staff
  3. Inspect all work by outside vendors for quality and timeliness.
  4. Assure through regular inspections that maintenance procedures are consistently meeting health and safety standards.
  5. Understands and adheres to governmental regulatory programs and policies.
  6. Practices and complies with all facilities and maintenance department safety procedures,
  7. Directs team members on assigned shift in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, and/or pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  8. Prepare written report detailing the cause of the failure and works with maintenance team, planner, supervisor, or other team members to take action to prevent a reoccurrence of the failure.
  9. Work closely with cross functional teams to develop and improve current manufacturing and facilities processes. 
  10. Makes improvements and suggestions to optimize maintenance program.
  11. Oversee and performs Preventative Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (Pdm), corrective repairs, special projects/equipment rebuilds and directing outside service technicians/contractors on-site for technical assistance.
  12. Support diagnosing and resolution of breakdowns/malfunctions in machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  13. Direct and assist with analyzing and resolving work problems leverage methodologies including, but not limited to: root cause analysis (RCA), break down analysis (BDA) and cause maps to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  14. Executes and document planned and unplanned work findings and data during shift.
  15. Repairs and installation of parts, tools and equipment.
  16. Understands and interprets technical documents and diagrams.
  17. Assist with executing maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. In addition to utility systems such as heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
  • High School (12 years schooling) with approved academic course in basic electrical, mechanical and electronic
  • 2 Years diploma in basic electrical, mechanical and electronic is preferred

Minimum 7 years experience in maintenance related discipline or equivalent work history preferred


Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
  • Mechanical, electrical certifications/licenses preferred
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Ability to organize and analyze operational data
  • Ability to speak and write reports in English is required.
