Basic Function

The Senior IT Technical Analyst is expected to develop and support technical solutions for it JHAH’s catalog of applications. 

Scope

The required skillsets include demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the ability to develop technical requirements; designing, configuring and prototyping applications; and, as a developer, reading and understanding functional specifications.

Principal Duties
  • Support ERP production business processes to meet business process requirements
  • Configure ERP solutions for identified gaps in functionality and business process
  • Participate in design reviews and business model matching sessions
  • Resolve ERP systems issues resulting from user error, incomplete system setup or systems bugs
  • Gather and understand business requirements for support and work with the rest of IT to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
  • Maintain complex integration points between ERP and third party systems
  • Manage and coordinate all development applications including requirements definition, vendor evaluation, strategic systems planning, processes re-engineering, design, and development, and documentation, production support of major manufacturing implementation or new functionality
  • Provide analysis and requirements to the ABAP Development area as it pertains to customization while following standard practices
Education

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a Computing / IT Field.

Experience
  • Minimum 10 years hands on experience with IT systems analysis, programming, testing and implementation;
  • Ability to develop project proposals, plan and deliverables;
  • Able to conduct User Acceptance testing;
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools is desirable;
  • Project management skills are required; and
  • Ensure timely resolution of production issues to JHAH applications.
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
  • Degree and/or master’s in IT
  • 5+ Years in Functional SAP MM experience
  • SAP certification would be preferred.
  • At least one End to End Implementation experience of SAP MM
  • Experience writing technical and functional specifications and implement solutions
  • Must have worked on either Roll out / Support/ Implementation of SAP MM module
  • Should have cross functional expertise in integrating with other modules PM, FI and HR.
  • SAP Certification is desirable;
  • Knowledge of Healthcare environment is desirable;
  • Knowledge of presentation tools like Visio, Power Point is required;
  • Presentation skills are necessary; and
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are required.
