Basic Function

Prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document training activities in JHAH.

Scope

The work is in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Human resources department.

Researches and develops training programs for an organization. Develops methods for training staff and may prepare curriculums. Evaluates training delivery, measures results, and recommends program changes. Must stay abreast of new training methods and determine relevancy to company employees.

Work hours are assigned to meet operational needs of the assigned area.

Direction is through the Chief Human Resource Officer or designee.

Principal Contacts

Daily with HR Team and employees.

Ongoing with JHAH managers and other departments.

Principal Duties

  1. Conducts needs assessments/instructional analysis to ensure conformity with mission training objectives and develops master training plans as needed.
  2. Conducts performance based measurement assessments.
  3. Prepares training status reports, exhibits, memoranda and training desk procedures as required.
  4. Advises and consults regarding training program/system objectives, operational procedures and constraints.
  5. Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies including technology enhancements and attends periodic seminars, forums and meetings to ensure currency of education.
  6. Consult with other departments to determine training plans.
  7. Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools.
  8. Facilitate HR related learning, if required (rolling out new policies, systems, campaigns etc).
  9. Apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness. 
  10. Track and report on training outcomes.
  11. Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology current and new.
  12. Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers.
  13. Participate in performance calibration/moderation sessions, if required.
  14. Participate in talent review sessions, if required.
  15. Perform basic system admin functions for Talent Management Systems.

Education

Bachelor Degree in HR or related field.

Experience

Minimum 10 years’ experience related to business or healthcare.

Certifications/Other requirements as applicable

  • Spoken English is required.
  • Computer literate in MS Word & Excel.
